Information About Valuations

Verbal valuations of items for possible sale are given free of charge.

Formal valuations for probate, or family division are undertaken. Our fee for a written probate is £200.00 plus V.A.T

Valuations of single items, collections, or entire house contents can be arranged by calling the auction office.

Items may be brought to the Sale Room between 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday, although it is best to call the office prior to your visit to make sure someone is available to help you.

Alternately we can visit you at home at a mutually convenient time.

Amongst our services we include house clearances, where we undertake to remove and dispose of items of furniture and personal belongings from houses, garages, sheds etc.

All rubbish is disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.

Quotes are calculated on an individual basis after inspection of the property.

Antiques and other saleable items will be entered into our sales and proceeds deducted from the costs, and in the case of probates any surplus credited to executers or solicitors etc.

Private house clearances payment would be as directed.
